About Us

Dr. William J. McClure and Dr. Rebecca L. Jackson of Napa Valley Plastic Surgery have provided plastic and reconstructive surgery care to Northern California patients since 1984. They are now joined by Dr. Tyler C. Street.  Our main office and nationally certified surgery center are in Napa, and we also maintain satellite offices in the cities of Sonoma and Vacaville. Though most of our patients are from the San Francisco Bay Area, we attract many patients from a greater distance who come to us to undergo treatment and recuperate in the beautiful Napa Valley.

The doctors maintain separate practices, carrying out their own consultations and performing surgery. However by working in close association and by sharing a well trained staff and modern facilities they can provide excellent service and 24/7 coverage. Surgery Center

Dr. William McClure and Dr. Rebecca Jackson designed a state-of-the-art fully accredited surgery center in which to perform cosmetic surgery. The surgery center shares the same building with their Napa office but has a separate and private entrance and exit. The center is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF), a regulatory body recognized by the California State Medical Board.


To become certified the surgery center must meet stringent national standards for operating room safety, equipment, monitoring, record keeping, and credentialing of personnel and medical staff. Recertification is done yearly. Dr. McClure serves as a facility inspector for this body.

We are certified to administer general anesthesia and balanced sedation (“twilight sleep.”) Our team of M.D. anesthesiologists are fully board certified and serve on our local hospital staffs. Though none of our procedures require an overnight stay, if a patient and their family desires, we are certified to provide this.

Office Policies

  • Appointments

    To ensure availability, please schedule your appointments as far in advance as possible. For new patients, please plan to log into our patient portal prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out the registration form. The physicians see new consultation patients in each of our three offices.


    Our physicians set aside 45 minutes to an hour for new cosmetic surgery consultation appointments. If you are unable to keep a consultation appointment, please let us know as early as possible so the time can be given to another patient. When you make an appointment our staff will ask for a phone number where you can be reached a few days prior to confirm the appointment.


    The $55 fee for Cosmetic consultations will be applied to your surgical fee, should you decide to proceed with surgery. This fee is also applied to BOTOX Cosmetic® or skin filler treatments. To reserve a surgical time, we ask for a $500 deposit, which is non-refundable if surgery is canceled within three weeks of the scheduled date. Exceptions are made for illness or family emergencies.

    Billing & Payment

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. For insured patients, deductibles and co-payments are due at the time of visit. We ask for a deposit fee when a surgical date is scheduled. Full payment for surgical procedures is due prior to surgery. Financing options are also available.


  • How do I make an appointment to see one of the doctors?

    During regular office hours you can call any of our three offices where one of our front office people will assist you. After hours or on the weekends you can call the office numbers to leave a message or email a request. We will respond to you on the morning of the next working day.

    What happens during the initial consultation?

    During the initial consultation our doctors will get to know you by asking questions about your health and family history. They will want to learn about your home and work life, and any special activities or vigorous hobbies. You will have the chance to explain to the doctor what you envision for yourself; what you’d like changed; what are your expectations; what are your goals; what are your apprehensions.

    The doctor will explain everything in general terms and then with your permission, he or she will examine you. By examining you the doctor can then be more specific as to your options. Your questions will be answered. The doctor will show you before and after patient pictures. He or she will talk about costs. In addition to learning your surgical options, you will have the chance to learn more about the doctor. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions. This sharing of information will help the doctor better prepare you for surgery and recovery.

    How do I schedule surgery?

    Scheduling can be done by telephone. Linda Savage our patient care coordinator will help find the date that works for you. Many of our patients are from outside the area. Linda is well prepared to handle the needs of our out of town patients. If you are traveling to Napa for surgery please click here for helpful information.When patients schedule surgery, they will also be given a pre-operative appointment so you would be seeing the doctor again before the surgery day. There is no charge for this visit.

    Tell me about the pre-operative visit. 

    The doctor will review the scheduled procedures in detail. Any further questions will be answered. Family members and caregivers are welcomed to attend the visit. Our clinic assistant will go over very specific instructions and you will be given written instructions sheets for pre and post-operative care.  The “before” pictures will be taken and you will be given post-operative  medicine prescriptions. Some of you will receive pre-operative medications and surgical soap to use before surgery. 

    What should I expect on the day of surgery?

    Our nurse will greet you and your caregiver. The surgeon will be available to answer any last questions, and in some cases will draw pre-operative skin markings. If you will be undergoing a general anesthetic, you will meet the anesthesiologist who will explain everything to you. Your caregiver will be told when to return, and upon his/her return the nurse will review the post-operative instructions. Upon completion of surgery you be cared for in our recovery area by a registered nurse until you are awake enough to return home, usually within 45 minutes to an hour.

    How can I reach the doctor after surgery if needed?  

    You and your caregivers will be encouraged to call the doctors anytime after surgery if questions arise. After hours and on weekends the answering service will pick up calls and connect patients with the doctors. Don’t hesitate to call. We prefer to hear from you if you have any concerns no matter how minor. The doctors are used to being called anytime day or night. When in doubt call.

    As service to our patients, we provide a 6 months no point, no interest payment plan through Care Credit.
